Wick Cutter for Solder Wick

The Hakko FT630-55 Wick Cutter is an industry first, allowing you to quickly and cleanly trim solder wick without the need to reach for cutters. A built-in tray collects the cut off wick trimmings, which easily detaches and the debris can be discarded without leaving a mess behind on your work area.

• The FT-630 can cut most common sizes of wick, even when loaded with solder, and can also be used to pre-cut the wick to selected lengths for use. The enclosed cutting system collects the trimmings which mitigates debris on the workbench.
• You can adjust the type of cut and the hold on the wick using the dial located on the face of the FT-630.
• The debris tray can be found just under the cutters, this tray can be easily removed to discard wick trimmings.
• You can change out the cutter by removing the hexagon wrench that is found on the underside of the FT-630. Inserting it into the gear hole and rotating it until the blades of the cutter open. Next insert the hexagon wrench into the access hole to push out the cutter.
