External calibration makes it easy to calibrate resulting in less downtime and increased productivity. Supports a wide variety of tips of different sizes and shapes including lead free. Energy saving tool pod to hold the iron is designed to catch excess solder and maintain the set temperature when the station is at rest. It also creates an environment to reduce oxidation and extend the life of the tip. A space saving modular sponge tray is detachable and can be stored away when its not in use. The 951SXe features an illuminated design which visibly and clearly indicates when the tool is on or off. Manufactured in California and backed by an 18-month warranty.
