The Argon Masking LSK-0250 Argon Anti-Static Polyimide Tape 1.0 mils – 36 Yards is a high-temperature, antistatic polyimide-film tape coated with silicone adhesive, designed for use in circuit board production, wave soldering, transformer/capacitor insulation, or other high-temperature electrical insulation applications.
The tape is thin and conformable, which enables masking of uneven surfaces and ensures clean removal without leaving adhesive residue — even after exposure to elevated temperatures.
The total tape thickness is approximately 2.5 mils (1 mil polyimide film + ~1.5 mil silicone adhesive), providing excellent dielectric strength and high temperature resistance (up to 500 °F / 260 °C).
